Use the destination’s laboratory rules
Check the authority’s accepted laboratories, sample identification and reporting format before the blood draw. A laboratory suitable for one destination may not be accepted by another. China Customs explicitly ties the relevant quarantine-exemption branch to accepted laboratory results; a report from any convenient laboratory is not enough.
Do not merge different clocks
Vaccination-to-sampling time, sampling-to-entry waiting time and report validity are different clocks. Japan’s ordinary procedure uses a waiting period linked to blood sampling. Singapore’s Schedule II and III guidance specifies its own sampling and export windows. Copy each date into the matching field; do not borrow a deadline from another country.
Keep vaccination continuity
A satisfactory titre does not automatically waive later boosters, import documents or inspection. Ask the authority whether a lapse in vaccination changes the test’s use. If the official wording about the start of a wait is unclear, obtain clarification before choosing a non-refundable travel date.
