One identity throughout
Create an index containing the pet’s chip number, owner details and document names. Check that the animal described in the vaccine certificate, test report and import paperwork is the same. Record who issued each item and how to obtain a correction before the travel day.
Keep the required format
Do not assume a phone photograph replaces an original. China Eastern explicitly asks for printed application copies and original certificates at check-in. By contrast, CDC allows the relevant Dog Import Form receipt to be printed or shown on a phone. Apply the format required for each individual item.
Print the plan with its limits
Print the checklist with its review date and the applicable conditions, then attach the actual official documents. The checklist is an organisational aid. If dates, route or policy change, recheck the underlying rules and print an updated copy; previously checked boxes cannot establish that a new itinerary is compliant.
