Certificates and permits

Dog / Cat · Accompanied hold baggage / Separate cargo service

Official tariff TW2 version 4 (issued 19 August 2025, effective 20 August 2025) covers passenger/baggage travel between Canada/USA and Area 3. Rule 100(D)(5) requires valid health and rabies certificates, entry permits and documents required by entry/transit countries for accepted ordinary dogs/cats. This records that dated tariff, not universal current domestic or other-route requirements.

Selected official conditions only, for the operating airline and the direction, aircraft, service and dates stated in each rule. A mode tab may contain a prohibition or unresolved condition; it does not grant carriage. Obtain actual pet space approval and origin/transit/destination clearance separately. Assistance animals, commercial movement and unlisted services need separate assessment.

Carrier and crate dimensions

Dog / Cat · Accompanied hold baggage / Separate cargo service

In that Canada/USA–Area 3 tariff, ordinary pets must be properly crated in leakproof containers, at the owner's risk and subject to carrier requirements. T’way may limit their number/type or refuse carriage on an aircraft or when attention in transit is needed. No crate dimensions or numeric weight limit for pets are specified in this paragraph; general baggage limits do not supply them.

Rules depend on the route, animal and operating carrier. Confirm your own journey with the relevant authority and airline.

Applicable conditions

Rule 100(D)(5) of the dated tariff says ordinary pets in baggage/cargo compartments only. The current detailed pet-service webpage was not readable in this review, so present cabin eligibility, route/aircraft service, limits, fees, ages and notice must be confirmed. Do not turn this tariff wording into a worldwide current cabin ban or actual booking approval; service dogs are a separate section.
