Ordinary dogs/cats can be accepted as checked baggage, subject to approval and an aircraft with a suitable heated hold. Tell the ticketing agent when booking to protect pet space; if no suitable aircraft operates that day, the request may not be honoured. This page does not establish an ordinary cabin service or a universal weight/crate cap.

A mode tab may contain a prohibition or unresolved condition; it does not grant carriage. Obtain actual pet space approval and origin/transit/destination clearance separately. Assistance animals, commercial movement and unlisted services need separate assessment.
Present valid vaccination and applicable import/export/transit permits at reservation and airports. Charges are normal excess-baggage rates on pet+crate+food regardless of free allowance. Obtain onward airline acceptance separately; SriLankan is responsible only for its own operated sectors. Service-dog notice/check-in times are not adopted as ordinary-pet deadlines.
