Dogs/cats at least three months old may travel as accompanied checked baggage; no ordinary cabin pets. Above 32 kg combined use a cargo agent. No pregnant/sedated animals or listed short-nosed/aggressive breeds and mixes. No pets on any B 737, SQ 21 Newark→Singapore or SQ 23 JFK→Singapore; SQ 25 is a separate option to confirm. Check destination embargoes and direction.

IATA crate maximum heights: A 350 70 cm, A 380 60 cm, B 777 101 cm, B 787 111 cm. Ventilation on three sides, secured food/water and room to stand/sit/turn/lie. Separate crates except two same-litter animals aged three to six months, each under 14 kg. Country/route may impose lower limits.

Contact at least two weeks ahead with pet/crate details, waiver and origin/transit/destination documents. Recommended counter arrival: at least two hours, or three for US departures. No incoming pets from other airlines. Fees are outside normal allowance and generally based on combined weight; US routes count two extra pieces, without prepaid discount. Singapore import clearance uses an AVS-recognised pet agent.
