Since June 1,2025 all cabin pets on Air Canada Rouge, Air Canada and Air Canada Express must use soft-sided carriers; hard kennels are not accepted. Under-seat space varies by aircraft, so verify actual flight carrier dimensions; another operating airline has its own policy.
Selected official conditions only, for the operating airline and the direction, aircraft, service and dates stated in each rule. A mode tab may contain a prohibition or unresolved condition; it does not grant carriage. Obtain actual pet space approval and origin/transit/destination clearance separately. Assistance animals, commercial movement and unlisted services need separate assessment.
