Sudan Pet Import Requirements

A limited customs health-document requirement for live-animal cargo obtained; personal passenger and medical entry conditions remain to confirm.

Documents and permits

Dog / Cat · Separate cargo service

In its restricted-goods import table, Sudan Customs requires a health certificate associated with the Ministry of Animal Resources for live-animal consignments. For a pet shipped as cargo, confirm the Ministry’s acceptable document and approval before customs clearance; this entry does not establish the form of a foreign certificate.

Selected official provisions for healthy adult personal dogs and cats. Choosing a departure country does not establish residence history, admission, permit approval or airline acceptance. Confirm the actual journey with the authority. The Sudan Customs page concerns imported goods and lists live animals with a Ministry of Animal Resources health certificate. Only the cargo customs document item is treated as established. It does not provide a dog/cat passenger protocol, international certificate template or current port clearance assurance; general commercial banking/invoice paperwork is not automatically applied to personal pets.

Admission conditions

Dog / Cat · In the cabin / Accompanied hold baggage / Separate cargo service

Rules depend on the route, animal and operating carrier. Confirm your own journey with the relevant authority and airline.

Applicable conditions

Confirm personal dog/cat admission, permit procedure, accepted export certificate, timing, rabies, chip/titer, operating entry point and quarantine directly with the veterinary authority. Cargo customs information does not establish passenger exemptions or a complete pet protocol, and missing details do not mean these requirements are waived.
