Obtain the veterinary import permit through Bayan before arrival. The application includes the lifetime vaccination record with photo and microchip number, plus an accredited laboratory rabies-antibody report. Bring the permit, government veterinary certificate, vaccination record and laboratory report on arrival.

Dogs and cats must be over four months old. Rabies vaccination must follow completion of 12 weeks of age, with no more than 12 months elapsed since vaccination at import.

The Customs guidance specifies sampling 21–30 days after the latest rabies vaccination. At export, at least three and no more than 12 months must have elapsed since issuance of the RNATT/FAVN result. Confirm this timeline before booking the test.
